Han Tümertekin, founder of Mimarlar Tasarım will talk about the conservation and redesign of the SALT Beyoğlu and SALT Galata buildings. Describing the renovation of both buildings, which were formerly Istiklal Avenue’s Siniossoglou Apartment and the headquarters of the Imperial Ottoman Bank, respectively, Tümertekin will speak about the redesign process, which includes a commitment to retain the buildings’ original architectural elements, while reorganizing their interior layouts to meet SALT’s exhibition, programming and research functions.
