This month’s Long Thursday at SALT Beyoğlu includes a guided tour of A Promised Exhibition at 19.00 (Turkish and English).

On the last day of One, No One and One Hundred Thousand at SALT Galata, there will be a guided exhibition tour at 19.00 (Turkish and English) led by the photographer Elio Montanari. Montanari’s first major solo exhibition includes sequences of photographs that expose the concentration and passion of individual artists as they work, including well-known practitioners such as Marina Abramović, Matthew Barney and James Lee Byars among many others.

Guided tours of Köken Ergun’s exhibition Crowds and Power at SALT Ulus will start at 19.00 (Turkish) and at 20.00 (English). Ergun’s video works focus on rituals of distinct social groups and subcultures. His interests lie in the interactions and dynamics of social conclaves and how groups bond together.

In addition, visitors can enjoy special discounts at the café in SALT Galata and the bookstores in SALT Beyoğlu and SALT Galata. On Long Thursdays, the Ottoman Bank Museum, which reinterprets the world of the late Ottoman era and the early Republic period, remains open until 22.00 and SALT Research, with its comprehensive library and archives, is open until 20.00, both located inside SALT Galata.
