SALT Galata, Workshop II-III
February 17-18, 14.00-19.00

SALT hosts the public conversation The Jerusalem Show VII, an urgent forum initiated to consider how political, cultural, social and economic conditions shape art production and discourse for large format international events taking place in different cartographical complexities.

The Jerusalem Show VII: FRACTURES was curated by Başak Şenova and organized by Al-Ma’mal Foundation for Contemporary Art, Jerusalem and presented in the framework of the Second Qalandiya International. FRACTURES was composed of seven chapters that took place simultaneously at twelve venues in the old city of Jerusalem. The chapters –”Intensities,” “Details,” “Intervals,” “Measures,” “Lines,” “Writing” and “Fabric”– presented exhibitions, site-specific art projects, performances, artist books, book launches, walks, talks and screenings. As the media partner of The Jerusalem Show VII, Ibraaz.org dedicated an extensive section for the project along with the downloadable guide and the children activity book on their website.

Talks will be held in English.
