Les rendez-vous de Paris [Rendezvous in Paris] is made up of three romantic tales set in different areas of Paris. The first, full of suspense, humour and mischief, “Le Rendez-vous de 7 heures” [The Rendezvous of 7 Hours] is set in Montparnasse and Beaubourg. The second, “Les Bancs de Paris,” [The Benches of Paris] takes a surprising stroll through the city’s many, often unknown, gardens and parks. The third, “Mère et enfant 1907,” [Mother and Child 1907] reveals two wonderful young actors. Their love affair has them pursuing each other to the Picasso Museum and through the Marais district.
In the scope of Long Thursday, Les rendez-vous de Paris [Rendezvous in Paris] combines all themes cherished by Rohmer fans: seduction, elegant language and love for a city called Paris.
