Between exclusion and engagement
Dmitry Vilensky and Olga Egorova of Chto Delat? will discuss the interdependence between personal and external effects as probed in their film-performance installation, The Excluded. In a Moment of Danger (2014).
Included on the third floor of the exhibition A Century of Centuries, The Excluded. opens on individuals interacting with the deluge of information of social networks and the web. The film develops to incorporate a study of the protagonists’ relative positions to various intimate and universally acknowledged events in space and time, moving on to examinations of moments in history from which they believe there is no return.
This talk is organized in the context of the exhibition A Century of Centuries on show at SALT Beyoğlu until May 24.
