In their first performance together, vocalist Saadet Türköz, percussionist Amy Salsgiver and saxophonist Angelika Niescier will present a unique improvisational performance inspired by the audience and the architecture at SALT Galata, featuring sounds from avant-garde jazz to Central Asian music genres.

Commissioners’ Exhibition
Commissioners’ Exhibition studies the critical relationship between the architect and the commissioner through a number of buildings contracted by private and public entities in Ankara, Çanakkale, Denizli, Izmir, and Istanbul from 1930s to 2010s. Dispersed throughout the building, the exhibition also features documents providing details on the renovation process of SALT Galata that took place between 2006-2011.
