Mirjana Radovanović and Miloš Miletić of Belgrade based collective KURS will discuss their artistic practice in the public space. Organized by SALT, the program will present the opportunity to review a selection of the collective’s works, as well as their recent publication, Lessons in Defense (2016).

Founded in 2010, KURS examines wider social problems by means of various visual forms like murals, illustrations and wall newspapers. Producing educational and informative content framed by artistic language, KURS focuses on topics related to problems faced by workers of the culture sector, artists and students, and critically address the precarization and flexibilization of labor.

Taking place in cooperation with AsiKeçi Ankara Sanat İnisiyatifi, and the support of Sivil Düşün EU Programme, the talk will be held in English with consecutive translation to Turkish.

A SALT Ankara program, this talk is open to all.
