Initiated last April by Kök Projekt in collaboration with SALT, the Urban Food program continues to explore the current food culture in Istanbul, which has been transformed by internal and external migration flows in the past 30 years. The third talk at SALT Galata will take place with the participation of İmran Rana, the founder and owner of Musafir Indian restaurant in Istanbul.

A representative of Indian cuisine in the city since 2004, Rana will tell his story and experiences. Featuring a selection of ingredients from India, the details of a particular recipe will be demonstrated and shared with participants following the conversation; while the use of spices in Indian food culture, and the preparation of curry is explained.

The talk will be held in Turkish and is open to all.
