One year after an atrocious hunting accident that led to his father’s death, Éloi returns to the lands he inherited in order to make peace with the incident and attend a strange tribute paid by local hunters. On the spot, he learns the existence of an almost mythical character, called the Indian, who every season comes to hunt down an enigmatic deer and might be related to the tragic death of his father. Determined to confront his recurring nightmares and discover the truth, Éloi ventures on the trail leading to the Monarch, the king of the forest, who might hold the key to all mystery.
Directed by Albéric Aurtenèche, this action thriller film follows a modern tale on the edge of the Laurentian forest where the real and unreal are intertwined.
Following Salt Beyoğlu’s Walk-in Cinema screening on Thursday, November 10 at 19.00, the film will be streamed online from Friday, November 11 to Sunday midnight, November 13 via saltonline.org.
This free-admission program takes place between November 3 and December 1 in Salt Beyoğlu’s Walk-in Cinema and at saltonline.org. All films included in the program will be streamed in their original language with Turkish subtitles, and can only be accessed online by audiences in Turkey.
