18.00-18.45 Presentation: From Symbol to Logo
Rene Wawrzkiewicz

In this presentation, Wawrzkiewicz will talk about the unknown history of logo design in communist Poland as a reminder of the forgotten stars of Polish design. He will elaborate on how logos and visual identities have changed from the post-war years to the present, evolving from individual symbols to complex visual identities, as a metaphor for the social history of Poland over the past seventy years.

19.00-19.45 Presentation: Between Book and Exhibition Design
Anita Wasik

In the last session of the program, Wasik will talk about her experience as a graphic designer specializing in design for culture. She will present her work, from book to exhibition design, and discuss the link between these two types of design.
