18.00-18.45 Presentation: From Symbol to Logo
Rene Wawrzkiewicz

In this presentation, Wawrzkiewicz will talk about the unknown history of logo design in communist Poland as a reminder of the forgotten stars of Polish design. He will elaborate on how logos and visual identities have changed from the post-war years to the present, evolving from individual symbols to complex visual identities, as a metaphor for the social history of Poland over the past seventy years.
