CONCERT BY HASSAN KHAN

SUPERSTRUCTURE
(THE AMMUNITION OF THE NATION)

SALT BEYOĞLU

JULY 14, 2011 19.00 – 20.00

Hassan Khan performs three of his compositions in this concert set. From the complex emotional range of A Musical Piece Based on Distant Memory to the brutal, tireless, yet constantly morphing beat of SUPERSTRUCTURE, this set brings together live improvisation and pre-composed elements. Khan mines his personal archive of studio sessions helmed with various musicians to build a new musical structure that takes us from a precise, intimate and fragile moment to a semi-mythical collective landscape. Excerpt from Hassan Khan's concert in the Walk-in Cinema.
