Workshop II-III

Salt is hosting the workshop “P4C Workshop with Grundtvig’s Philosophy,” organized by the Danish Cultural Institute Türkiye. The program comprises a presentation by Ingrid Ank, an expert from the Grundtvig Foundation in Denmark, followed by a workshop on designing philosophical lesson plans led by Özge Özdemir. The program aims to familiarize participants with Grundtvig’s philosophy and to strengthen their knowledge and skills in the field of Philosophy for Children. The outputs will be used in volunteer work with children.

This free-admission program is limited to 20 people. The presentation will be in English, and the workshop will be in Turkish. For more information and application, click here.

Ingrid Ank has a degree in theology and is the author of several articles and books on the Danish poet, politician, pastor, and educational thinker N. F. S. Grundtvig (1783-1872) and on the current discussions around education and empowerment of the individual, aiming for an open, liberal, and democratic society. She is currently engaged in an international initiative connecting different parts of the world in a study of Grundtvig’s thoughts and legacy and its relevance in educational, philosophical, and political contexts outside Denmark.

Özge Özdemir completed her master’s and doctoral degrees in philosophy at Istanbul University after graduating from Boğaziçi University’s Department of Philosophy.
