Workshop II-III
Organized by Kreşendo and in collaboration with Salt, a conversation and screening will be held to present the recent outputs of the artist development project My City My Voice.
Geared towards early-career female musicians, the project aims to empower women to express their interpretations of the cities they live in through music and encourage diverse musical experiences. Focusing on the latest edition of the project, the documentary film My City My Voice III (2024) chronicles a journey from Ankara to Balkan cities. The program will begin with the screening of the documentary, followed by a conversation titled “Getting Inspired by the City and the Journey of Music.” Moderated by the project’s curator, Beril Sarıaltun, the conversation will feature documentary director Okan Erünsal and a participant of the project, Alaska (Deniz Benzetsel).
This free-admission program will be held in Turkish and is open to everyone.
