Altay, who faces deportation from Germany unless he can provide a valid reason to the immigration office, meets a homeless man wearing a Spider-Man mask on his way home in the Neukölln district of Berlin. Curious about the man’s circumstances, Altay briefly interviews him. Inspired by this encounter, he begins recording his conversations with others who share similar concerns.

Neukölln Spiderman is a mixed-genre film that integrates these conversations into dialogues between people who are unaware of each other’s presence, offering viewers encounters with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with the film crew and Çağrı Alver from Istanbul Experimental.

This free-admission program is open to everyone. The conversation will be held in Turkish.
