Salt Research, Photograph and Postcard Archive
Developed in the early 2000s through the cataloging of personnel and branch photographs from the Ottoman Bank Archive, the Photograph and Postcard Archive offers visual insight into the diverse dynamics of 19th- and 20th-century cities. The collection primarily comprises photographs and postcards depicting cities of the Ottoman Empire and the Republic of Turkey, alongside a small number of materials from prominent European cities of the period.

The new additions comprise over 1,000 items documenting infrastructure such as warehouses, railways, stations, ports, and quays; public buildings including mosques, churches, monasteries, schools, hospitals, consulates, and palaces; as well as materials that shed light on the political developments of the era.
