“Photography in All its Forms”

Debra Hess Norris and Nora Kennedy will be joined by Tayfun Serttaş to explore traditional photography and the challenges faced in the preservation and display of photographs.

What should collectors and conservators be aware of? How can one ensure these works will be passed along to future generations? What are some of the issues involved in showing contemporary images in museum settings?

The speakers will then open the floor for questions and contributions from audience members, ideally linking back to the local history of photography in Turkey.

The talks will be held in English and Turkish, with simultaneous translation into Turkish and English respectively.
