Within the scope of the exhibition Modern Essays 5: Graft, the documentary film Rivers and Tides (2001) will be screened at SALT Ulus in November. The film captures the essential upredictability of the site-specific, land art works produced by sculptor Andy Goldsworthy.

Goldsworthy is renowned throughout the world for his work in ice, stone, leaves and wood. His remarkable still photographs share his often ephemeral works by fixing them in time. This deeply moving film, shot in four countries and across four seasons, introduces the elusive element of time as it relates to and affects his sculptures.
