Visual artist Serkan Taycan’s works depict the changing relationship between urban and rural spaces, and the people impacted by these processes of transformation. Abandoned industrial sites in İstanbul and Marseille were the subjects of his work for the 2010 exhibition Ex:change İstanbul-Marsilya.
