New additions to the Salt Research Architecture Archive

Photographs of Istanbul University’s Central Library, designed by Sevinç Hadi, Şandor Hadi, and Hüseyin Başçetinçelik, are now accessible at archives.saltresearch.org.

Completed in 1985 and demolished in 2019, the library holds a notable place within the architectural landscape of the 1980s. Added to the Salt Research Architecture Archive, the collection features photographs from the period when the building was constructed and opened for use on Istanbul University’s Beyazıt campus.
