L'Internationale Online launches its new design

Lin Campaign Banner
A new design has been launched for the L’Internationale Online website—a platform of the L’Internationale confederation and its partner institutions for research and debate on critical matters in arts, culture and politics. Initiated in September 2014, L’Internationale Online aims to enhance the multiplicity of vocabularies for production and distribution of knowledge through a shared sense of urgency towards the whole world.

L’Internationale gathers seven major art institutions: Moderna galerija (MG+MSUM, Ljubljana, Slovenia); Museo Reina Sofía (Madrid, Spain); MACBA Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (Spain); Museum van Hedendaagse Kunst Antwerpen (M HKA, Antwerp, Belgium); Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie (Warsaw, Poland); SALT (Istanbul and Ankara, Turkey) and Van Abbemuseum (VAM, Eindhoven, Netherlands), which team up with HDK-Valand Academy (Gothenburg, Sweden) and the National College of Art and Design (NCAD, Dublin, Ireland). The newly designed online platform works within the frame of the project Our Many Europes (2019-2022), co-funded by the Creative Europe of the European Union, comprising over 40 public programs such as exhibitions, conferences and workshops.

L’Internationale Online features sections including Research Threads, Opinions, Talks, Programs, Glossary of Common Knowledge as well as the Library, a continually expanding selection of e-Books and Publications edited by the L’Internationale Online and members of the confederation. A latest addition to the platform, the Broadcast Channel presents new video works, live performances and
discursive events commissioned by L’Internationale Online besides curated screening programs.

Commissioned by L’Internationale Online’s managing editor Corina Oprea and the members of Editorial Board—Nick Aikens, Farah Aksoy, Sara Buraya, David Crowley, Meagan Down, Nav Haq, Ida Hiršenfelder, Pablo Martínez, Jyoti Mistry and Mabel Tapia—the new website is by designer Christophe Clarijs and programmer Magnus Liistamo. The general coordination of the project was conducted by HDK-Valand Academy.
