Leyla Kabasakal and Tracy Lord Şen are cooperating to flourish balcony gardens with traditional seeds. Şen is a researcher and dreamer on Turkey’s traditional agricultural plants. She is the secretary of Seed Alliance and president of Emanetçiler Derneği. Kabasakal is a Ph.D. student at Boğazici University’s Institute of Environmental Sciences. She is also the founder and leader of Balkon Bahçeleri Convivium.
