Initiated at SALT in 2015 to coincide with the COP21, offering a framework in which to question the responsibilities of museums and cultural institutions in the face of devastating effects of climate change, Is this our last chance? continues at SALT Galata. Commencing with the Istanbul premiere of Thank You for the Rain (2017) following the 2017 Bonn Climate Change Conference (COP23), this year’s program consists of eight documentaries that explore a range of actions and enquiries on environmental issues in relation to climate change.

All documentaries will be screened in their original language with Turkish and English subtitles.

In September 2015, SALT announced that it will not accept support from oil, coal, or gas corporate entities.
