Ferit F. Şahenk Hall

Salt Research Ferit F. Şahenk Hall opened in 2017 on floor -1 of Salt Galata in response to the growing number of users and the expanding collection of publications. The space is available to master’s and doctoral students, academics, and independent researchers wishing to use Salt Research collections.

Researchers interested in using the space should fill out the registration form at saltresearch.org. Eligible applicants receive a personal access pass. Designed by ŞANALarc, the venue features 40 seats, reservable study areas, and an additional shelving capacity for up to 10,000 publications. The Lin Library System, developed by Ersa Mobilya for Salt Research in 2011, is also used in the space.
